Introducing SplitFire AI
We're opening a new chapter for SplitFire AI.
Since launch, SplitFire AI has helped musicians practice, explore ideas, and jam along with bass-focused backing tracks. But rhythm does not stop at bass. The groove comes from the full rhythm section, and that is why we're expanding our focus to support drummers too.
Why we're broadening the focus
Music works better when the whole pocket is in view. By adding more support for drums alongside bass, SplitFire AI becomes more useful for musicians who want to practice rhythm, arrangement, and feel from more than one angle.
What's new in SplitFire AI?
- Drum backing tracks: Practice with drum grooves as well as bass-focused material.
- Community voting: Vote on bass lines and drum grooves so the community can help shape the catalogue.
- AI-powered practice tools: Loop, slow down, and isolate parts to focus on the details.
- Semitones: Earn in-app rewards through participation and unlock more content and features.
- The core experience stays the same: The simple interface, broad mix of styles, and community focus are still central to the app.
What comes next
This update is a broader step, not a complete reset. We're continuing to add more tracks, more ways to practice, and more ways for musicians to connect through the app.
Thanks for being part of it. Whether you play bass, drums, or both, SplitFire AI is built to help you get to the song faster and spend more time playing.
Slap it!
