Audioslave - Like A Stone (Bass Cover) (Play Along Tabs In Video)

About this version

Some drum parts make sense on paper and still feel odd under your hands. This version is for closing that gap a bit faster.

Useful for

working on groove and feel

Useful for

cleaning up fills and transitions

Useful for

repeating the section before the section that usually goes wrong

A simple way in

A version for hearing the groove, fills, and transitions more clearly while keeping the shape of the original song intact.

Start with the tricky section, not the whole song. A few good repetitions usually tell you more than one rushed pass from top to bottom.

Once it feels settled, go back to the full arrangement and check whether it still holds together. That is usually where the real answer is.

Bridge pikcup volume at 0 - Gear Sound: Added a good amount of mid frequencies and some bass. Use some drive or gain to get a slightly distorted tone - About The Song: Not a very hard song to get. The live version is played in standard tuning, but the studio version consistently uses a low D note. That's why i used the dropped tuning to get that. I don't really know the original tuning, but i think this form of playing is fairly comfortable Need more tips?
